Work Package 1: Preparation (Lead organization: University Santiago de Compostela)
This WP is dedicated firstly to prepare 4 different questionnaires. The first one will be a uniform questionnaire in order to conduct the adequate surveys addressed to journalism students and journalists (30 per PC-HEI) that will lead to precise and complete reports about the needs for new journalism reporting course programme in each of the Partner Countries that will result to more qualified and skilled journalism studies graduates and upskilling of in-service journalists. Moreover, questionnaires will be redacted and disseminated to at least 30 experts from academia who will give their intellectual input on the outline and methodology of the course. Additionally, there will be one uniform questionnaire for the academic staff (7 per PC-HEI) concerning their skills in teaching the course in order to define vocational training for the upskilling of academic and administrative staff. There will be a third questionnaire about best practices for the European academic staff (7 per HEI) that are experts in this field. The surveys designated to offer the data for the reports will include face-to-face & online questionnaires for the target group of students. For the academic staff of PC-HEIs interviews will be conducted based on the questionnaire prepared whereas the academic staff of European HEIs will answer a questionnaire about best practices for in teaching this kind of course. All the partners will give feedback for the research design, instructions and instruments. The research will be conducted in each respective country and at European level. By assessing the level of the available graduates and post-graduate courses and understanding the connection with the labor needs, recommendations will be provided for the proposed course programme. There will be a transfer of best practices from EU-HEIS.

Work Package 2: Curricula & Capacity Building Training Content (Lead Organization: University of Battambang)
The development of an accredited journalism reporting in SDGs course will start with a series of meetings of EU-HEIs that will use as base the reports generated in WP1. The academic staff will establish the outline of the course and the methodology used which will be either new or tailored to the needs. It will be based on best practices’ transfer from EUHEIs in close collaboration with our Asian partners. A second step in the development phase, the course will be tailored to the particular needs for journalism students and in-service journalists. Each course will be conducted in two forms: on-the-campus and online. Therefore, it will include two sorts of educational material: the relevant material for studying on-the campus as well as the distance learning material. To promote digital online teaching method, a SDGsReporting learning environment will be developed and an e-tutor’s guide. Specifications for the development of Research Units will also be defined in this package.

Work Package 3: Capacity Building Activities (Lead Organization: Royal University of Phnom Penh)
During this WP, firstly the SDGs_Reporting Platform will be delivered and the material will be uploaded to be tested. Academic staff, lecturers and tutors will visit the PC-HEIs in order to offer capacity building on the new course, have discussions with their peers and exchange knowledge on their field. Additionally, this package will allow professors and researchers from partner countries to build their skills, abilities, process and resources for the delivery of the Journalism Reporting Course in SDGs. Best practices exchange and hands-on learning is an inherent part of a new curriculum. Networking actions will contribute to the strengthening of professional relations of academics from Programme and Partner Countries. They will get in contact in international consortia and will be exposed to different perspectives and gain new insights into the Sustainable Development Agenda. In these networking events businesses, researchers, lobby groups and subject experts and stakeholders will participate.

Work Package 4: Delivery of Educational Programme & Capacity Building Course (Lead Organization: University Shezhen Polytechnic)
Within this work package, all the activities for the delivery, evaluation and accreditation of the course programme will take place. The programs will be delivered and tested to all PCHEIs, according to the specifications set in the previous packages. The process for accreditation will begin in each HEI. The programmes will be closely monitored by all partners and the quality will be tested There will be an internal and external evaluation of the course program which will start running in the 3rd year of the project, based on a uniform questionnaire prepared and questions to conduct an interview. The internal process of evaluation will be conducted every month with online questionnaires to the students enrolled in the course. There will also be a round of interviews every 3 months to the students and to the academic staff. The external evaluation by a Board of Experts will refer basically to the developed course, namely the methodology, learning material, students’ response to the modules and they will provide a section with recommendations for improvement of outputs. The process of evaluation will produce two evaluation reports: one interim (6 months after the initialization of the course and one after the second round of running the course that will lead the Programme Delivery Final Evaluation Report.

Work Package 5: Quality Assurance & Monitoring (Lead Organization: University of Battambang)
This WP aims at defining the indicators of quality, test quality based on this methodology and maintain the high quality of the outputs in order to certify that they meet the standards required. This quality management plan offers tools for systematic monitoring of project and partner management, internal and external communication, project outcomes and budget management. The quality plan will analyze possible preventive actions in order to minimize the nonconformity at the beginning and during implementation of the project. It will provide clear and measurable objectives to assess the quality of progress and to contribute to the feedback needed for the external evaluator.

Work Package 6: Dissemination and Exploitation (Lead Organization: University of Nottingham Nigbo)
The dissemination mechanism will be implemented to maximize the visibility, capability, potential and impact of the journalism reporting course program in SDGs and vocational courses.
The dissemination will target four groups:
- Faculty and academic personnel from partner and neighboring countries
- Journalism students
- Journalists, analysts, media organizations
- Stakeholders and experts on SDGs.
Essential for the success of the course program and for the Research Units to thrive, it is important to include networking events and actions that can offer career guidance, bring stakeholders in contact with the students to establish a long-term and sustainable link with the labor market and make the course famous for the in-service journalists. They will coincide with the study visits. The goal is also to for, a universal scientific understanding of sustainable development as a basis for policy.
Representatives from the university administration, civil society, ministries of education and other educational institutional will be invited to the workshops. In order to ensure the widest possible audience dissemination, the material will be drafted in English and then translated to all consortium languages.

Work Package 7: Management & Coordination (Lead Organization: University of Santiago de Compostela)
There are 9 partners. They are divided into: EU universities and vocational training centers and Asian universities. This WP aims at the careful and constant monitoring of the project progress, budget, risks The project manager will be the grant holder and will be responsible for:
- Funding Management: Contacting the European Authority and reporting to it (financial reports progress reports, final report).
- Leading and managing the EU partners.
- Carrying out financial issues, including the monitoring of the costs, in order to react early and flexibly on deviations from the original cost plan after reporting to the European Authority.
- Consortium Agreement: Setting up a project legal agreement, serving as a formal guide for the whole project. This agreement will contain all required information on the organization, ethical, legal and administrative issues. This project agreement will be binding for all members of the project consortium.
