Consortium Meeting held online on the 21st of June 2022

The coordinator endorsed the efforts that were made during April and May on finishing activities from previous Work Packages (WP2, WP3, WP4), and stressed out the importance of the preparation for the approaching staff training course, a crucial step in the Project’s lifecycle.

From that point onwards, scheduling activities as well as the attraction and enrollment of at least 5 academic staff from each of the partner countries Higher Educational Institutes, were set to be the immediate priorities. In addition, “UNIVERSITATEA LUCIAN BLAGA DIN SIBIU” (LBUS), “Universiti Utara Malaysia” (UUM) and the “Royal University of Phnom Penh” (RUPP) were appointed with the coordination and delivery of the staff training course. The course was scheduled to last for 5 weeks, with 1 week for each module +1 week for digital learning methods and innovative pedagogical tools. Finally, activities directly involved with the pilot Journalism Reporting Course were addressed to the “University of Nottingham Ningbo China” (UNNC), the UNIVERSITATEA LUCIAN BLAGA DIN SIBIU” (LBUS) and “Shenzhen Polytechnic” (SZPT). These activities included syllabus, study material for the course, an E-tutor’s guide and the delivery of the course programme itself. The enrollment of about 30-40 students from each PC-HEI was also considered.

Stick around, there is more to come!
