UUM realized a visit to BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency or in Malay known as Pertubuhan Berita Nasional Malaysia, abbreviated BERNAMA.

It is a news agency of the government of Malaysia, placed under the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia. During the visit, a few discussions were conducted, which focused on collaborations for knowledge development with BERNAMA. The main ideas presented were:

• Offering professional certification on SDG Journalism Reporting for BERNAMA officers.
• An invitation to BERNAMA officers to join TOT on SDG Journalism Reporting
• An invitation to BERNAMA officers to involve as speakers in any suitable dissemination program.
